About Us

HAVING CREATED THE ELUSIVE "BUZZ" on the Lincoln music scene, (securing themselves a management deal along the way), 7DW set about recording their original material at TEN21 studios in Kent following recommendations from Karl Brazil (Drummer - James Blunt Touring Band). WITH THE TALENTED PRODUCER SEAN KENNY AT THE HELM, the resulting ten tracks successfully captured the bands distinct, captivating melodies and wide-reaching appeal. The band are now poised to capitalize on the wave of momentum and positive feedback, armed with a great album of potential hits. WITH THE INVALUABLE ADDITION OF BOTH KARL AND COLEMAN FLAHERTY (James Blunt drum tech.) onboard for help and advice, 7DW are poised to elevate their profile and to establish themselves still further. WITH FORTHCOMING GIGS AT PRESTIGIOUS LIVE VENUES THROUGHOUT THE UK, and with a press / album launch due to follow in early 2007, the coming months look certain to be exciting times for the band.

JAMES STYRING (Vocals)
James has publishing deals with both 4807 Music Ltd and All Media Music Ltd. He has contributed music to the RF Records ?Wait Until The Ride Stops? compilation CD and a number of local radio stations have awarded songs from his previous project, 'HappyHead', single of the week (against the major acts).

JIM FLAHERTY (Drums)
Jim is the latest hard hitting sticksman in a family of successful musicians. His cousin, Karl Brazil, is the highly respected drummer in the James Blunt Band.

DALE SIMPSON (Keyboards)
Dale is a student at the Lincoln Virtuoso School of Music where he has training in both classical and jazz piano. His experience in live and studio work, together with his ear for a strong melody, make him a vital ingredient to the band.

COLIN STEWART (Guitar)
Colin's disciplined and precise playing is instantly recognisable. Having previously played the festivals of Europe, his individual style compliments the bands overall sound.

ED PARKIN (Bass Guitar)
Ed is formerly of the band Audioline, and has played several high profile concerts, including having the (dubious!) honour of opening for Westlife at Lincoln City FC's Stadium.
